Slaven Bilic's job at West Ham is hanging by a thread after a dismal 3-0 home defeat to Brighton on Friday night.

Brighton (3-2-4) took the lead on 10 minutes thanks to a familiar source. Glenn Murray met Pascal Gross' free-kick with a typically clinical and assured trademark header which nestled in the bottom corner. It was 2-0 on the stroke of halftime when Jose Izquierdo beat Joe Hart with a curling effort from the edge of the box just seconds after the England keeper had done brilliantly to deny Murray a second.

West Ham United (2-2-5) were even more toothless in the second half before the away side sealed it on 75 minutes. Pablo Zabaleta tripped Murray in the box before the striker got back on his feet to calmly beat Hart from the spot.

The final whistle was met with boos from the home fans after a dreadful 90 minutes from their side, but Brighton head back to the south coast happy.
