10/18/2018 Paul Richardson Jr., Was, WR
Richardson sat out practice for a second straight day Thursday to rest a lingering knee injury.

Analysis: Richardson also missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices a week ago before playing a majority of Washington's offensive snaps in Sunday's game against the Panthers, so owners probably shouldn't be overly concerned. Though not a high-volume receiver, he has caught a touchdown pass in two of his last three games.
10/18/2018 E.J. Gaines, Cle, CB
Gaines has been diagnosed with a concussion and will miss Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.

Analysis: Gaines had started Cleveland's last two games in place of Terrance Mitchell, who's now on IR with a wrist fracture. The Browns are beginning to lose bodies on the defensive side, as Pro Bowl middle linebacker Joe Schobert also isn't expected to play Sunday due to a hamstring injury.
10/18/2018 T.J. Yeldon, Jax, RB
Yeldon will practice Thursday after being held out of Wednesday's workouts with foot and ankle injuries.

Analysis: Yeldon is likely just dealing with some bumps and bruises and is having his practice reps scaled back a bit. He's set to work again as Jacksonville's lead back this Sunday against the Texans with Leonard Fournette a long shot to play.
10/17/2018 Theo Riddick, Det, RB
Riddick was held out of practice for a second straight day as he deals with a knee injury.

Analysis: With the Lions coming off a bye, Riddick's availability for this week's game against Miami is looking highly doubtful. An absence would give a fantasy boost to rookie Kerryon Johnson, who'd likely receive more looks as a receiver in such a scenario.
10/17/2018 C.J. Uzomah, Cin, TE
Uzomah was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury.

Analysis: There's no indication that the injury is a concern, so for now count on Uzomah playing this week against the Chiefs. With Tyler Eifert out for the year, the tight end has gained a larger offensive role and posted season highs of six catches and 54 yards against the Steelers last Sunday.
10/17/2018 Adrian Peterson, Was, RB
Peterson was held out of Wednesday's practice. The Redskins listed him with ankle, shoulder and knee injuries on the injury report.

Analysis: The 33-year-old is dealing with some bumps and bruises, though there's no indication right now that he'll miss this week's game against the rival Cowboys. Peterson has had a resurgent season thus far, averaging 67.8 rushing yards per game and 4.4 yards per carry while scoring three touchdowns in five outings.
10/17/2018 Isaiah Crowell, NYJ, RB
Crowell did not practice Wednesday due to a foot injury.

Analysis: Crowell also missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices last week - though that was with an ankle issue - but was active for the Jets' win over the Colts. The running back wasn't particularly effective, however, in managing 40 yards on 13 rush attempts.
10/17/2018 Terrelle Pryor, NYJ, WR
Pryor did not practice Wednesday due to a groin injury.

Analysis: With Quincy Enunwa dealing with a high ankle sprain and unlikely to play this week, Pryor would be missing out on a good opportunity if he can't go against the Vikings. The former quarterback stepped up by catching 5 of 6 targets for 57 yards and a touchdown after Enunwa was forced out of last Sunday's win over the Colts.
10/17/2018 Robby Anderson, NYJ, WR
Anderson returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session with a hamstring injury.

Analysis: With Quincy Enunwa likely out with an ankle injury, Anderson should be looking at increased usage if he indeed does play Sunday against the Vikings. Anderson hasn't caught more than three balls in any of the Jets' first six games, but he's averaging 19.3 yards per catch and is just two weeks removed from a two-touchdown performance against the Broncos.
10/17/2018 Mike Iupati, Ari, G
Iupati will not play Thursday against Denver due to a back injury he sustained in last week's game against Minnesota.

Analysis: With Justin Pugh questionable to play after breaking his hand last week, the Cardinals may be down both of their starting guards for their Week 7 clash with the Broncos.
10/17/2018 Tre Boston, Ari, S
Boston will miss Thursday's game against Denver due to shoulder and rib injuries.

Analysis: A key player on the Cardinals' defense, Boston leads the team with seven passes defensed and has recorded an interception in three of the last four games. His absence should give the struggling Case Keenum a somewhat easier matchup.
10/17/2018 Khalil Mack, Chi, LB
Mack did not practice Wednesday and is day to day with a right ankle injury he sustained in last week's loss at Miami, Bears coach Matt Nagy told reporters.

Analysis: Mack turned his ankle during the first half of Chicago's overtime loss to the Dolphins and played through it, though his effectiveness was clearly limited as he had a four-game streak with at least one sack and one forced fumble end. The standout pass rusher has never missed a game in his five-year career, though there's a good chance he may not be at his best for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots.
10/17/2018 Brock Osweiler, Mia, QB
Osweiler will make a second straight start when the Dolphins host the Lions on Sunday. Miami has ruled starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill out for the contest due to a lingering right shoulder injury.

Analysis: Osweiler showed he was capable of filling in for Tannehill by throwing for 380 yards and three touchdowns to help Miami edge the Bears in overtime last week. The journeyman signal-caller did throw two interceptions, however, and his inconsistent track record should give fantasy owners cause for pause.
10/17/2018 Derek Anderson, Buf, QB
Bills coach Sean McDermott announced Anderson will start in place of the injured Josh Allen at quarterback Sunday against the Colts.

Analysis: Signed just over a week ago, Anderson will be making his first start since December 2016 while then with the Panthers. While still a player to stay away from for fantasy purposes, the 35-year-old may still be a superior option to the dreadful Nathan Peterman as Allen's replacement.
10/16/2018 Marshawn Lynch, Oak, RB
Lynch is nursing a groin injury and his status coming out of the Raiders' Week 7 bye is uncertain.

Analysis: Lynch is always dealing with some kind of nagging injury but always seems to play through it. This time, however, it appears like he may actually miss some time.
10/15/2018 Jamal Agnew, Det, CB
Agnew has been placed on IR with a knee injury.

Analysis: This stings if you own the Lions defense and special teams after Agnew was an All-Pro last season as a rookie with two punt returns for TDs.
10/15/2018 Nick Vigil, Cin, LB
Vigil will likely miss the next month due to an MCL sprain.

Analysis: Through six games, Vigil was tied for sixth in the league with 51 total tackles and had four tackles for loss.
10/15/2018 Niles Paul, Jax, TE
Paul suffered an MCL sprain in Jacksonville's Week 6 drubbing to Dallas and has been placed on IR.

Analysis: Paul was coming off a pretty solid game in Week 5, catching seven balls for 65 yards with starting tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins going on IR with a core muscle injury.
10/15/2018 Marcus Maye, NYJ, S
Maye will likely miss a month with a broken thumb sustained in the Jets' Week 6 win over the Colts.
10/15/2018 Baker Mayfield, Cle, QB
Mayfield (ankle) is expected to play in Cleveland's Week 7 game at Tampa Bay.

Analysis: Mayfield injured his ankle in the Browns' Week 6 loss to San Diego but didn't come out of the game. He threw for 238 yards, but had a pair of interceptions and a 52.6 passer rating - his lowest through four games.
